Pasta salad

A super simple, easy to make salad that has a creamy texture from the avocado and cheese. It can be served warm or cold. Salads are our goto dinner option during summer. It is filling, wholesome and satisfying meal.

Pasta is one thing that is welcome in any form for my kids which encourages me to try new things with pasta. This is one of the dishes I have tried to make as I had some leftover pasta. Many times I tend to boil extra pasta to whip up this salad the following day :).




romaine lettuce 3-4 leaves, roughly chopped
thinly sliced onions1/2 cup
avocado chunks 1/2 cup
diced tomatoes 1/2 cup
cooked warm pasta 1 cup
feta cheese 1/2 cup

for salad dressing
olive oil 1/4 cup
lemon juice 2 tbsp
salt to taste
sugar 1 tsp
black pepper powder 1/2 tsp or more (as per taste)


Mix all the ingredients for the salad dressing and set aside.
In a large bowl add the romaine lettuce, thinly sliced onions, avocado chunks, diced tomatoes, and cooked warm pasta.
Pour the salad dressing on the veggies and pasta.
Toss them well, adjust the seasoning.
Sprinkle some feta cheese and serve.
