Gulkand Burfi

Gulkand Burfi was one of the few sweets I made this Diwali. As I am reminiscing Diwali, thought of posting this recipe which was long due. It is simple 4 ingredient recipe which can be cooked in 30 mins. This is such a great recipe especially when one plans to make many varieties of sweets for a large crowd. The rose flavored burfi’s looked marvelous and tasted amazing.

Ingredients

ricotta cheese 1 1/4 cup
condensed milk 1/2 cup
gulkand (rose petals jam) 1/2 cup minus 2 tsp
rose essence 1 tbsp
red food color as required (optional)

Method

Mix all the ingredients in a wide pan.
Cook on low-medium flame with continuous stirring for 25-30 mins.

Remove from refrigerator and cut into desired shapes.

Enjoy the gulkand burfi !!
