Vegetable Pizza

My kids love to take Pizza for lunch once a week. Fixing lunch in the morning makes it so hard to make pizza base from scratch. So came up with the idea of using frozen naans with veggies and a variety of cheese. This pizza can be customized to ones liking. Kids enjoy the pizza and also eat veggies with out any fuss :).. My mission accomplished πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ :).

 

Ingredients

frozen naan 3
marinara sauce 1/2 cup
onion 1/2 cup thinly sliced
bell pepper 1/2 cup thinly sliced
broccoli florets 1/2 cup
pepper jack cheese 4 slices or 1 cup
olive oil 1 tbsp
basil leaves 10 thinly chopped (optional)
mexican blend cheese 1/2 cup (optional)

Method

Preheat the oven to 450 deg Fahrenheit in pizza setting or bake setting.
Place the frozen naan in the oven for 2 mins and remove them.
Spread lil olive oil, marinara sauce (liberally) on the naan, top it with onions, bell pepper, broccoli florets and cheese.
Bake it for 10-12 mins till cheese melts and is light brown in color.
Slice and enjoy !

Note: I made different variations of the pizza.
– Cheese basil pizza with sauce, cheese and basil.
– Onion basil pizza with sauce, onion, cheese and basil.
