Truffles with coconut is soo simple to make, and fantastic sweet for all the coconut lovers. Added a slight twist by stuffing some khoya dry fruit mixture to get extra flavoring.
shredded coconut 2 cups
sweetened condensed milk 1 can
coconut flakes, for coating 1 cup
khoya 1/2 cup
almond, pista coarsely ground 1/4 cup
sugar 4 tsp
cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Mix the condensed milk and dried coconut flakes together.
Add more coconut flakes if they are not binding well.
Mix and set aside for 15 minutes.
In a pan add the ingredients for the stuffing mixture and fry till warm and set aside.
Make small balls.
Insert a small hole in the center and add 1/2 tsp of the stuffing mixture.
Pat over and make a nice round ball.
Gently roll in a bowl of coconut to coat.
Refrigerate for 4 hrs and serve.
