Our family always has room for desserts. This a very simple recipe that can be whipped up in no time with few ingredients. Mango Shrikhand with poori (puffed, deep fried Indian wheat bread) is a popular dish in the Maharashtrian cuisine of India.
plain greek yogurt 1 cup
mango pulp (store bought) 1/2 cup
sugar 6 tsps
elachi/cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
saffron strands 6
Mix all the ingredients and refrigerate for 3 hours
Note: can be served as dessert, or as a side dish with poori/roti.
